The highly anticipated movie Adipurush’s teaser disappointed its fans due to its bad VFX. The team Adipurush had worked harder behind the scenes to redeem their lost status when the trailer was out, showing the improvements they had made. The famous cast (Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan) added another starry layer to the movie with their performance in the movie.
However, even with all its improvements, Adipurush is still bringing trouble with its trailer after Several reasons launched it, with the foremost being VFX issues. A section of the audience has filed even complaints for all the mistakes made till now, finding it offensive. Sanjay Dinanath Tiwari filed a complaint against the team of Adipurush, that there have been several mistakes in the movie’s poster, teaser and trailer. He also stated that there is a strong possibility that there will be mistakes in the movie as well, which may hurt the religious sentiments of people affiliated to Sanatan Dharm.
Pankaj Mishra and Ashish Rai filed a complaint through Bombay High Court on 11th May, They demanded that the movie should undergo a special screen test and censorship. before it releases in the theatres.

Saif Ali Khan is the actor portraying the character of Ravan, an evil demon king, in the movie. When he was discussing the movie’s character in an interview 2 years before, he said that the movie portrays a more humane side of Ravan.

This, however, did not go great with the audience to the point that he had to apologise for it and issue a new statement, “I would like to sincerely apologise to everybody and withdraw my statement. Lord Ram has always been the symbol of righteousness and heroism for me. Adipurush is about celebrating the victory of good over evil.”
The team had released one of the movie’s posters back in April 2023 that featured Prabhas as Lord Ram. The audience again backlash the poster as the animation studio Vanar Sena Studios accused it of plagiarism.. The studio slammed the movie team for duplicating their work on social media with an Instagram post that read, “It’s disappointing to see our work being copied like this”.
When the first teaser of the movie was released in 2020, the movie was slammed hard by the audience for the poor VFX and became the butt of jokes, memes and trolls on social media, including Instagram, twitter and Facebook. VFXwala issued a statement clearing out their name that they are not involved with the project.
The team had reworked to make the VFX a better quality for the audience’s visual experience, which delayed the movie’s release from January to June. Another reason is that the movie hurt religious sentiments by making mistakes in costume design, teaser and trailer.
