Gujarat

While this one doesn’t have the immediate charm of Rajasthan or Goa, that has let it become an underrated destination in India. When you are looking for a delightful getaway away from the crowds, Gujarat needs to be on your list of destinations to check out. It offers azure seas and heritage forts of Daman & Diu to the jungle safaris at Gir Forest. You can also just opt for a place encircled by the forest and set up camp yourself.

If you chose the Hesed House of rainy Cherrapunji, check out the living root bridges and Nohkalikai Falls. For something away from the touristy regions, you can go to the Wakaba Falls. Best part about Meghalaya is, even if you don’t have an itinerary in mind for your vacation, it is the perfect place to sit back and relax as you will find great views everywhere.
